Many thousands of children in Kenya, as well as most of Africa, don't have any shoes. Going barefoot in many cases allows parasites such as hookworms and sand fleas to infect these children. Shoes for children are an asset to a good health program. That is why we have helped to provide shoes for over 750 children up to early 2016. When the Health Hut is received in place in Nandi County, Kenya, it will be carrying another 250 pairs of shoes for local children.
We always are accepting partners who would like to donate or help with the shoe project!
